Dr. Deanna Glosser, the sole shareholder, has
20 years of hands-on experience in working with federal,
state, and local units of government on a wide range of
issues. She has a doctoral degree in environmental
planning from the Department of Urban & Regional
Planning at the University of Illinois,
Champaign-Urbana.
An example of Dr. Glosser’s experience includes:
-Working with national and state organizations on
smart growth issues
-Development of administrative rules &
legislation
-Providing natural resource-related technical
assistance to local governments
-Environmental and social impact assessment
-Strategic planning
-Development of natural resources performance

-Ensuring compliance with state wetland,
endangered species and cultural resources laws
-Use of conservation easements to protect natural
& cultural resources
-Conducting research on pollution of the Illinois
River from 1800 to present
-Serving as the principal investigator and
planner for the update to the
Illinois Natural Areas

-Responsible for stakeholder involvement for The
Nature Conservancy’s Emiquon Visitor Use Plan
